You can’t save a damsel if she loves her distress

I have spent a majority of the last year learning about myself and growing into the person I want to be. Let’s not play, that will be a lifelong process. I still have a long way to go and I completely own that I am a Hot Mess Mommy!

I love sharing my life, love, family, hobbies, and crazy stories, but I don’t like the unnecessary mess that comes with social media. Lately, it seems like a lot of mess and mindless scrolling. Today, the social media accounts are almost a must, but I need to unplug a little. I run marketing on social media platforms and I know our ultra connected lives are here to stay, but my platform is going to change a little.

Writing has always been therapeutic for me. I love sharing crazy and hilarious stories about my life and family, our adventures and misadventures. I love connecting with other people and admitting that we are not perfect and our lives are far from perfect. I love sharing the joy, the happy times, and being there for each other during the sad and hard times as well.

This blog is going to be like my life, a hot mess. The good news is, I love my hot mess life and all of the wonderful people that God has blessed me with! I will share all kinds of things from this platform. Look to read about my family, life, style (or lack of), boy-mom adventures, home decor, home staging, furniture flips, scrap wood projects, tools, animals, country life, manufactured homes, fitness (pizza) ha! and more. I have a lot of irons in the fire.

My plan here is to save myself from the distress, simplify my sharing, connect with the people I love, and connect with more people that share my passions.
